PROGRAM  OPTIONS

ADOPTION  PROGRAM

Once the dog has received all necessary medical and/or behavioral rehabilitation, he/she can attend adoption events and their forever can be obtained.  The adoption process allows for a week of fostering to determine suitability to the family and home. Check out our available dogs to see if we have the perfect pup for you!

 

FOSTER  PROGRAM

In order to provide more comfortable and supportive care for dogs awaiting adoption and to preserve room at the shelter we have a foster home program. Anyone wanting to become a foster home for our dogs please call 928-232-2611.

 

SHELTER  PROGRAM

This program provides shelter services to the Town of Wickenburg for lost, stray, or abandoned dogs through the Wickenburg Police Department (WPD).  During the shelter stay, each dog receives shelter, food, water, nurturing, medical care, and one-on-one loving care.  Also, each dog is behaviorally evaluated for special needs to assist in proper care.  The shelter program also allows for community surrendering on a case-by-case basis depending on evaluation and available space.

 

HEALTH AND WELLNESS PROGRAM

This program provides food and medical services for low income families to help prevent losing their beloved dogs and to keep their pets healthy.

 

VOLUNTEER & COMMUNITY SERVICE  HOURS PROGRAM

K9 Konnection is now offering Volunteer Hours to High School students in order to meet their educational requirements. K9 Konnection is also now offering Community Service hours on a case-by case basis for those imposed by the Courts to serve for Non-theft,  Non-violent related offenses.  For more information and to see if you qualify, please call 928-232-2611.
